So pleased with my Great Lengths extensions by Chloe at the Vanilla Room. The extensions are so light weight without compromising on the fullness and is an ideal solution to help with my fine hair. I have recently had a new set of extensions placed into my hair, called Keratin Bonds. These are little bits of hair that wrap around your natural hair and grow down with your own hair. There is no “cookie-cutter”, “one size fits all” application technique, as each client has different hair conditions and desired results that must be considered. The skill level of the stylist is crucial for a damage-free application, and this is why Great Lengths Certified Stylists are the most sought after by extension clients worldwide.
Yes, Great Lengths hair extensions suit most lifestyles, however, we recommend to avoid daily or frequently repeated swimming, particularly in seawater and chlorinated water, and excessive sauna and steam room use, as these activities may affect the lifespan of your Great Lengths Keratin Bonds or Tapes. A great tip to try after these activities is to use diluted Great Lengths Anti Tap Water solution to restore your hair and scalp to its natural pH balance.
If your hair is long enough, we recommend you tie your hair in a loose ponytail or braid to prevent tangling. It is essential that you regularly brush your hair fillers or extensions using the correct brush to keep the bonds separate and to avoid matting. Your initial application will include a brush and the recommended homecare products to take home, plus lots of advice from your Capture Stylist.
