What is Colourstart?

Colourstart is a one-time only patch test you do at home, at your leisure, then share the results with us – giving us complete creative freedom to use any colour on your visits to us.

Using a Colourstart patch test creates you a hair colour passport, which unlocks unlimited hair colour choices and is valid with hair professionals worldwide. Keeping your passport valid, simply involves answering some questions prior to every hair colour appointment via the Colourstart app or website.

How to get your Colourstart Passport

STEP 1.

Download the Colourstart app, using the Apple or Google Play buttons

STEP 2.

Validate yourself

Validate yourself via the email you receive

STEP 3.

Answer 6 screening questions in the app, to confirm Colourstart is suitable for you

STEP 4.

Purchase your Colourstart test online or from The Vanilla Room reception

STEP 5.

Apply Colourstart patch test, following the instructions in the video

STEP 6.

Get the green light to colour in the app
