We are recruiting Year 11 school leavers who wish to pursue a professional career in hairdressing.  W e also have a select number of ‘late arriver’ spaces for trainee hairdressers who began a college course, but have found its not for them and would like to swap to a work-place apprentice scheme instead.

Apprentice places are in high demand, with the reputation of our practical and theoretical training second to none.

Hair Camp, The Vanilla Room Apprentice Programme

A Vanilla Room hairdressing apprenticeship provides an opportunity to progress as a stylist within our prestigious, award-winning salon.  Our trainers are each highly experienced tutors and hair stylists in our salon.  Class sizes are small, meaning apprentices receive dedicated teaching, mentoring and advice.  And, as the programme is based at our modern and luxurious Hornchurch salon, apprentices are able to gain hairdressing experience on salon clients during their training.

During the course apprentices work alongside hairdressing experts covering all aspects of hairdressing including bespoke cutting, styling, technical techniques as well as customer care, reception, retail and health and safety.
